Smile Very good to hear from you Ivan

Memories of the 'good old days' with IL-2, we have missed your wisdom.

Definately get your rig updated and get yourself quickly into the fray.

As mentioned by others, the flight sim is basically excellent, though there are many things yet to fix up. I think Oleg and Ilya were in a bit of trouble and had to release soon. Thinking back, Oleg did much the same thing with IL-2 Sturmovik and as you know it just got better and better.

When you get yourself going, I would very interested to hear what you think about the sim's potential?

Best regards

DFLion

What's up, Ivan..

If you happen to be down to the last fifty bucks in your wallet, then I'd probably wait.. (until payday...)
Otherwise, buy it
It's unfinished, but it is awesome.

I play every day for about an hour, usually I am frustrated by launcher ex problems, or I get the stutters out of nowhere..and I shut it down and count to ten and find something productive to do instead..

But I still get some quality time in ..

I gotta say, the cockpits paired with TrackIR 6DOF is just cool as hell when you get the hang of it..
Look over your nose, line up deflection shots that were impossible in the previous sim..

If/when they get the land/trees etc on par with the rest of the sim..

Kiss your "waking life" goodbye, sim junkies..

Mike

Cheers.
Is there really going to be a HL for CoD? Bad idea! Thats going to split up an already small group of gamers in MP. Whats wrong with just the in-game system?

The current in game "lobby" sucks IMHO.

And why are there two of them?

"Client" and "Lobby"? Makes no sense.

Hyperlobby is a low footprint application that just works. Most of the online community is used to it, and feels good about it.

Given the choice between the clunky in game/steam "lobby" and Hyperlobby, I'm going with Jiri's application.

Steam is going to be a headache moving forward as we get working skins as well.

well, next patch should "streamline multiplayer GUI" perhaps that includes server selection. Don't know, but yes, Lobby and client seems pretty useless!? At least I don't get the difference really. The one has many servers, the other one don't

Some names I haven't seen for quite a while in here, nice

Crazy, have a look at some vids I did with CoD... - They basically show how it is atm.
