I actually prefer the prop right now, at least it looks more 3D-ish.

No no, they mean that what they did to the propeller for epilepsy (on top of the epilepsy filter), has been removed, so that if you disable the epilepsy filter, the prop are not affected anymore.

The 3D look doesn't change. Indeed much better than original IL-2.

Yes it is but without vsync prop tearing like hell with lower rpm

As far as I realized, the main change is that when flying at low RPMs you really NOTICE the prop spinning. At higher RPMs is more or less the same.
