The game got a huge numbers of issues and problems...
Have been waiting for this game for 4 years. When the game finally comes out, it's not even playable. A friend of me have a good computer and play Crysis 2 on ultra high settnings. Then he try's out this game, and end up with a unplayable game...
They should have delayed the release about 6 months, so they could fix all of these problems... Release a open beta or something.
Hope they will fix this game soon, because this can be the best flight sim ever made, if they just fix all these issues.
And it looks amazing!

Sorry about my bad English.

And how many times do you think that they have postponed the release 6 months At some point someone is going to say enough... Let's just hope that someone makes enough money now to let the team finish it.

There is so much potential in it...

If that is true, what have they been doing for 10 years? I'm afraid not developing it.

Sorry, I'm only letting my anger out. I know that at the current state of development, more than ever we need to support this product, if we want to play this simulator.

The publisher rushed 1C maddox to release the game! The same happend with Silent Hunter 5.. it had a great potential but the development team abbondened the game!

UBi and not Oleg has to be burn for such an important misstake in the gamehistory! :e vil:

Ubi doesn't need the money from sales of this game.

Decision to release was most certainly from 1C

Well I for one would rather have the game and build up to the good performance
than have another 6 months of forum gazing. Reading speculative
comments and continuous bitching about it being a PHANTOM game.
If I have to read another "FLAT BOTTOMED CLOUD" post I think I might throw myself off the roof of a tall building.

If OLeg would have delayed any longer there likely would of been a full on community mutiny. Now you can take the time to get used to the new planes
and get to understand the full depth of the many new and proper exciting features.

I have seen many vids so far where the performance looks stable and fluid. So, in the meantime dial it to lower settings and before you can say "Tally Ho MoFo" it will all be Shwakka.

Seriously, wouldn't you rather have it and feel part of the final development touches, seeing how it magically improves over the next few weeks than the horrible frustration of not knowing when it will be ready.

Come on guys - glass half full - WE FINALLY HAVE IT - Yay.

I feel like being tricked in a bad way! I paid 60 EUR today for the collectors edition and cannot play that definitly unfinished product! That really sucks! I have i7-950 machine and GTX460 graphics, and it looks like a slideshow!

What a relief when started IL2 after that!

If i only could play at low settnings, i would be happy. But This lag problem have nothing to do with your gear i have heard. Have d same fps if it is on max og low settnings... No big change on the fps. Just a little because my rig is not the best.. But i run crysis 2 on low-med, so i should do it in this game to.

Your grafics card is so low end, you can't expect it to work well in a modern sim. Wether it be DCS-A10 or Cliffs of Dover.

The sim is very playable for me with forests and buildings toned down to the lowest settings.

This is with a GTX570.

You could further try to tweak your conf.ini regarding dynamic light and view distance. I think it would be a good idea if the devs put these in the video options dialog.

That's redicoulus.

1C is publisher in Russia and they released it even a week earlier than Ubi.

I guess 1C ran short of money (understandable, considering the long developement time), then got in contact with Ubi last year to publish it world-wide and make some money (understandable aswell).

Also Ubi didn't say that "thousands of people would play CloD (still SoW back then) last october". That was 1C. And 1C also released those smooth (one could say "faked") videos.

Anyway, we paid for it (those that did), only thing we can do now is hope and wait.

I'd rather say they tried hard to get Ubi out of the picture - which is why they only announced Ubi as the international publisher last October.

I think DCS did right thing with A10c. Preorder simm with access to beta testing. So we could try it, fly it and all time we know it was beta. Maybe UBI should do the same.
