You entered the same game as me today but you didn’t play.

I used to get “out of sync” messages a lot but not anymore. I always ask where the host is from and I can confirm that I have no problem with Russian hosts or anyone with the Russian version of the patch.

But I have never seen before the “connection lost” message.

I've never seen such a problem before. Try contacting the game developer, but I've never seen this before.

Where can I contact the game developer? This seemed kind of like the right place to ask this question, but like in StrongVodka's thread, it's next to impossible finding anything about MoW on Google.

I've tried asking where the host is from a few times, most of the time it's either obvious that they're in Russia(because god forbid a Russian speak English ) or they don't answer. You can see that I'm in Norway however and that I've tried playing with only people from Norway(even LAN), but as mentioned, the problem still persists.

@CzaD
I probably didn't play because I dropped
If I manage to fix this someday, I'll gladly make it up!

this is a typical error, when

a) host crashed
b) gamespy server "offline" or "restarted"
c) y had an error with y connection

The host crash I can understand. Gamespy however, I don't think is going to crash/go offline/restart/overflow every 10 minutes. My connection is what I'm keeping a main eye on, and there's nothing wrong with it.

Bottom line is, neither of this really makes any sense. Sure there will be a host occasionally crashing or even losing his connections to various variables, but even this doesn't make much sense because it happens EVERY game in under 10 minutes.

Are you and your friends who have this problem all from Norway? Maybe Norwegians are getting excluded, just as a possibility. I've seen some people who join my games get kicked for a Out-of-Sync error while 15 minutes into a game, sounds something like your problem.

Well I really, really have never seen this before. I've seen Out-of-Sync errors, connection lost errors but never one that doesn't seem to have any known way of being fixed.

Yeah.. Isn't Norway the capitol of Sweden or something?

I've taken that possibility into consideration as well, seeing as I had to order Cryostasis from play.com(It wasn't even released in Norway!). In the beginning I thought my friends(3 out of 4 are located in Norway) were having connection problems, but it turns out they actually aren't(it's just me). I usually host, then drop out and they continue to play on without me

I once had a strange issue like this for CoH after a re-format, and it turned out it was the nVidia network drivers that were blocking the connection. I couldn't run other programs like MSN Messenger as well for that matter, but finding servers and playing Steam games(CS:S etc.) worked just fine. This issue is fixed though, just throwing it out there.

Thanks for your help guys, it's nice to see such an intelligent and helpful community

But it seems like I have to take this problem to the next step
Does anyone know who, and where I should contact about this/these issue(s)?

I have no idea, unless you can speak Russian. Best Way, the chief developer, doesn't seem to be interested in helping international community. You can judge it by the fact they don't have an English forum.

I really look farward to MoW AS. I expect less MP problems thanks to "German quality" and much better PR.
