Alright alright, I'll tell you what really happened if you like.
It all started, when she was somewhere between Hawaii, and Australia or something like that (Her media mission, was just a rouse). She was flying at about 15,000 feet because she liked doing stupid things like flying at 15,000 ft. Anyway, while flying at 15,000 ft a German U-boat which was just being tested, surfaced and fired one of the worlds first ICBMs, but failed as the little ICBM only reached 1,000ft before running out of steam and falling back into the sea, detonating on the ocean surface. When that happened, Amelia quickly radioed the President of the United States, and issued a warning which said, "MR. PRESIDENT! We've got a problem!". Well little is it known, that Amelia Earhart, was actually one of Americas spies at the time, and she was known for being a bit hot headed and rash. So after she radioed it in, she quickly jumped into action and nosed the plane down. Flipping some switches, that exposed some small rotors near the tail end of the plane. The wheels secretly lifted up, and her plane became a submarine/plane. The German U-boat, nicknamed "Hitlers Surprise" spotted Earhart's Submarine/Plane, and quickly went into action as well. The two submarines fired their torpedoes at one another, and in the quick little fight. Amelia Earhart's submarine/plane was completely obliterated while the German U-boat "Hitlers Surprise" tried limping for Kyoto but in the end was forced to self detonate and obliterate themselves so no Japanese or American ships could find remnants of the elite U-boat. And so, that's what really happened. |

Yea......the most logical explanation at that.
Seriously though, Imagine if the real mystery was solved....it would actually be kind of disapointing. The mystery is really what makes her story so interesting. But no matter how we put it...its still a tragedy of aviation. |

Why is it a mystery? A plane crashes in the Pacific Ocean in the 1930's and people wonder why nothing is found? Any idea how freakin' huge the Pacific Ocean really is? Or how deep? I'd be more surprised if they did find something LoL
