Ah! You're just the fellow to ask! In your opinion, is the Wick vs Dundas Campaign a worthwhile purchase for the RAF side to fly -- in English, no less?

Haven't started the RAF side yet, but if it's anything like the quality of the LW campaigns, its well worth the money. Better upgrade to my CoD than my extra 6gb of RAM was!

That sounds really good, vB. Sounds like I just might just give this a go. The screenshots of the populated airfields alone are very impressive!

Ha! I hear ya! Sounds like the guys at Disastersoft have put a lot of work into it. Just as importantly, it sounds like they're continuing their ongoing support -- vital since CoD is still evolving. IMO a purchase is the best way to show support of such effort.

Hi guys I found a couple ways to do this.
1. If in formation as a wingman, set trim/power for level flight behind your leader and set gyro for direction of first waypoint. Disastersoft have been good in providing this directional nav info in the briefing notes. 2. Cheat, for a few seconds... Enable auto pilot and set gyro as per above based on briefing notes for the leg of the waypoint your on. 3. Set trim/power for level flight in a direction that gives you reasonable visibility of the compass T. Set gyro and then resume flight plan. This is my preferred method as it doesn't involve cheating and only takes about a minute so it doesn't take you too far off course. It would be great if mouse over worked for the compass to give your heading! |

I'm Aussie why would I be flying Blue?
Mouse over doesn't work in the spit for the compass. Cheers |

It would be nice if there was a 'window output' field for the compass. So you could customise a window to see its reading. In real cockpits you wouldn't have an issue reading the compass with a quick glance, not so easy whilst sitting at a desk peering around a monitor.
