This looks great. Question though.

In the App Store for Air Display it states:

Quote:
WINDOWS
To connect to a Windows PC,

Air Display requires Windows XP (32-bit only), or Vista or 7 (32-bit or 64-bit). Windows 7 Starter edition is not supported. Aero and DirectX will be disabled while connected to Air Display, and re-enabled upon disconnection.

Does this affect anything in the game?

It disables windows Aero but I haven't seen it effect the game in anyway.
I'm guessing Aero uses some direct X API calls and that's why they say direct X is disabled, so I would guess that any apps that make any "aero like" direct x API calls would not work. Fortunately this game and all my others have not been effected by this. (BF3, MWF3, Crisis 2, Skyrim and all the other usual top charting games)

I wonder if there is a similar thing for Android... I would be great if I could use it on my Galaxy SII.

Regards.

PS: Apple anyone? No thank you!

If Air Display just provides an extended desktop than it should be possible to increase CloD resolution to cover this desktop (maybe in windowed mode) and touch-click instruments directly in cockpit without Touchbuddy. Anyone tried this?

I'm over my head technically on this subject...but...we can already click instruments/controls in cockpit, right? I'm not sure what would be on the extended desktop (does "extended" mean a second monitor?)...

If there is a simple answer, thanks. If not, just disregard a stupid question.
Thanks

Yes an extra monitor. I my case, 4th monitor because I already have Nvidia surround with 3 screens.

@Ataros
It won't work as an extended desktop the way you describe.
You can't get the game window to go in the T shape required.
Not only that but the refresh rate of the iPad extended desktop is quite low so it's not design for fast 3d, it couldnt keep up... It's like 12fps or something. So it's ok for static or low speed graphics but not 3d gaming screens.

@vnvv_stea
No plans to do a 109 panel at the moment, it's not hard to create your own though with the toolkit. It basically uses static images overlayed for animation and macros to record key strokes.

@jg27_mc
As I mentioned earlier, an android version is planned but not yet released.

iDisplay is available for Android tablets similar to Air Display.

http://www.shapeservices.com/en/prod...atform=android

Not sure where one would take it from there to get a cockpit panel up though.

EDIT: DOH!!
