Good work. That surprised me to find a Spitfire Mk II checklist for 87 octanes. After that I have read, the version was developped direct to use 100 Octanes fuel, already in full use about the time of the delivery of the first produced MK IIs to the 611 Sqn at Digby , end Aug 1940.
