Gremlion

I am doing a no-loss impossible mage game. It appears I am stuck with Gremlion because I have only the diploma and leather vest for magic resistance (~35%). Since I kited the entire world already, I doubt there are any new items to be found.

Is there some way to kill Gremlion without loss still? If not, is there some way for me to edit in the items? I have the save game scanner, but I am not sure what lines to add in. While using a save game editor is considered cheating, I couldn't care less if my item rolls happen to be bad.
