Didnt you just get to keep that one after the quest?

Don't think so (not entirely sure) but i AM sure you could use it and gain a small permanent bonus...

There were tons of them in the last two games. Licking the demon's tongue, smelling the bear-attracting herbs, using the Amulet, prying out a gem; many of the quest related items had one-time bonuses if you used them.

Well, guess I just wasnt curious enough about those items. Not sure if I like the concept anyhow. It basically means you can miss out on a lot of helpful boni if you assume those quest items are irrelevant beyond, you know, the quest itself.

though I do see the appeal of making these items a bit more interesting to investigate.

at Nirual

You know you should try the first TL and AP and then try to use quest items

some lines were very funny to read, it added something of funnyness
which is really lacking in wotn

and besides that there were really like SMALL bonusses
it just gave a little bit more depth and touch in the game

I loved this aspect of the game, and it started in TL already with the very first quest - when you find some money in the old boots for your trainer... You get the chance to either keep the money or give it to him and gain XP instead for honesty.
