[MOW:Vietnam]New missions

[Man o' war]

Very nice mod, Men Of Peace. I managed to get it working in any game: MOW, MOWAS and MOWV, but the problem is the editor:

I can start it up all normal and load your map, but I don't have any new units in it and I can't load the mission for your map; I put the "vnewmission" folder inside both MOW and MOWAS "mods" folder and it works just fine, but there's no new units in the editor.

Did I do something wrong ( Force10 I see that your editor has units, but you can't load new maps, did you copy just the "vnewmission" folder or something else?)

Anyways, GREAT Mod, I enjoyed it very much, GREAT job guys cause it solved the MOWV mod question

I will take a shot at helping Raz. Replace the options.set file in your Documents with the one provided with the mission. Copy the folder "Mods" into your Men of War Vietnam folder. You dont have a "mods" tab in MOWV like in Assault squad, the mission will show up in the campaign menu at the bottom called "The Smell of Napalm".

I too have done everything and it does not show up. Please help. In my mods folder it shows the seven missions. And I replaced the OPTION.set. Still nothing.

I found out what I did wrong and got it working but under The Smell of Napalm should I be seeing all the seven missions or do I have to complete one to move to the next?

Hello, I've recently downloaded these maps, but whenever I try to play the second mission it minimizes and gives me an error message then it exits. Any ideas?

Just tested your 3rd mission for awhile.....Awesome! When I thought of a MOW game in Vietnam this is what I pictured. Firebase's being overrun etc.

here's the read me :

1. Extract inside MOW:Vietnam main folder .
(or drag the mods folder to MOW:Vietnam main folder .)

2.open C:\Documents and setting\%USERNAME%\My Documents\My Games\men of war:vietnam \profiles\player
backup and move the options.set file to other folder,and then replace it with the options.set
file that came in the zip .

3.open MOW:V go to select campaign and start playing.


If you all ready installed previous version of this mod,
repeat step one and confirm overwrite previous files in the mod folder.

The mission are awsome, you have bought the gameplay to a higher level, with force on force type of operations, we use a projector and have supper sized the screen to movie size, we have been able to play all mission w/out any problems, Men of Peace you are keeping this game alive, we have sence finshed the orignal games for both sides, we have just started Dead Before Dawn. Keep the mission coming bro.
