Very nice collection there. I visited the Strategic Air and Space Museum outside Omaha, Neb., back in June and got to see a childhood favorite -- the SR-71 Blackbird. They didn't have it set up for anyone to sit in the cockpit though. That'd be awesome. Not too many (essentially none) air museums around here so any chance I get to see one is a treat.

Thanks Bobby it was really hard to get far enough away from the planes to get them to fit in a picture and most of it was pretty dark but I tried to get some good pics for you all me and pappy go there a lot. I forgot to get pics of the planes outside there's a b-17, f-14 and a few others oh well leaves a few for next time

Great pics mate, some superb ones. Its a good one of the P-47 because you have someone stood infront of it and it really makes you appreciate the sheer size of the beast. Liking the P40 to beautiful plane. Great pics...

My only criticism... (you all know whats coming haha)...

No HURRICANE!!! This is a disgrace haha. I'm going to start a petition. Every aviation museum in the world should have a Hurricane

Yeah the phantom is huge in comparison with the mig. They have a lot of ww1 planes there and everytime I see them it absolutely amazes me that people flew them let alone fought in them. They are tiny very fragile looking things I have no doubt I could destroy one with just my bare hands crazy they flew those things lol
