The way it has worked on the last few patches is;

1 Official patch released on a Friday.
2 Two weeks later a beta come's out on a Friday.
3 One week later an official patch comes out.

It's been two weeks today since the last official patch, so that means there should be a beta out today.

Luther did say that when the last official patch came out, that the coop mode should be out shortly.

It should be available for auto-update from steam in a few hours.

Unfortunately two major things we cut out of the beta version of the patch did not make it into this release. Distant 2D clouds continue to conflict with NVidia SLI. The old Il-2 co-op style plane/position selection GUI also needs more work.

These changes will be released shortly.

Excuse the quoting. Have not worked out how to do this on my phone yet as I'm posting from work.

Fair one but, he also said the regular patches will give way to greater time scales between patches.
Also included in the routine you spoke about was a quick update thread before the beta friday to let people know what the change log might be.
So with that in mind your making a pretty big assumption, but with some logic i will add

"Released shortly" could be anytime this year.

Well, I do not need a patch every Friday, but a constant dialog with the devs (..well a single post by Luthier) is appreciated.

Shortly surely means within a week or two.

I've got 8 co-ops that are 90% complete but can't finish them as no other human players can join to fully test them.
The coop mode is the reason myself and a lot of others bought this game, and yet the game is nearly 4 months old and I still can't play it.

I don't want to be a whiner, but I'm just so extremely frustrated, and my patience is rapidly running out.
Thing is, buy the time this game works properly, most will have given up with waiting.

Back to the RoF offline career then.

Has anyone got any links for any new flight sims that are on the horizon?
