I drop in here once a week to see if anything has happened and then potter off again. I'd be a proper twat to sit here fulminating and shouting about it all. Life is worth more than that. If it works, I'll be delighted. Thank God my life is more than getting angry at people about a flight sim.

I Must agree, I formed a great squad for this sim and now we are having member drop out or dont show because of the current condition. With the past IL2 sims they where fun and alot of action.

This one after a year has went backwards and promoting the next sim more , even before this one fixed.

IMO the boys in Moskow are building Potemkin villages! Let us give the crouds some pics of some planes, don't give answers to the questions and let us do nothing! And sometimes if we dont do nothing, we have some holidays! We are all doomed!

Thanks for the update Blacksix. Very pleased to see the plane set for the sequel expanding too. The LA5 will be a great addition and hopefully indicates a FW190 or a BF109G2 is in the works.

Who's going to answer the questions Blackdog? No one ever answer any questions here. Unless 'I don't know' is a meaningful answer.

This is now becoming some sort of joke I think. I will not touch the sequel, on both a matter of principle and a loss of interest.

I just want a working product for the good money I paid, now.

This product IS working for many people, though it's by far not flawless.

And the sequel, as i understood all information about it, is just a expansion for the same game engine, which is also improved over the time, but nothing completely new.

Blacksix, you said the team worked on clouds in the previous update, do you have any screenshots of the new clouds, or is it just the same Il2 clouds with better distance rendering?

Improved speed and less CTD for me, they completely rewrote the engine which is no small task. Yes features were missing but they should be added back with this patch.
