I'll reserve any further words on this topic.

Too many on here that are simply way too in love with their captors. The exploitation of the community is nothing short of outright extortion. The members of these forums sitting up on their high-horses are what you could almost call suffering from Stockholm syndrome- you're blindly in love with the very ones who are shafting you a new one. Stop this pansy nonsense please and demand at least a working product for the exploitation of the community and theft. That, or please leave your intervening out and let us speak freely to get on with it.

I'm sorry to hear about the fascist behavior of some towards you pupo162.
very well said, but regarding the dev team i still believe they are trying to solve the situation, we'd better not hang them by the tree (no pun intended ) just yet..

Seriously guys, lighten up...and where the bloody hell have all the mods disappeared to. Like bleedin' buses - can't find one when you want him...when you don't need them they're all over the bleedin' place..

yeah right; that single post has all the ingredients of a tumultuous personality disorder, in the correct sequence: denial of reality - attempt to address and bond with reality - badly dissimulated but inescapable reference to suffering - cry for help (it would be funny if not somewhat scary).

self denial is a terrible affliction, that may be the case of a split personality.

speaking of which: has anyone wondered how come these 2 folks, davie and cargy, disappeared for months in a row and - wonder! - made a simultaneous comeback, always post int the same threads, generally by the same time, always with the same attitude, and never ever writing a single line about their game experience??? might be me and probably is, but isn't it time for an IP check? double accounts are prohibited afaik..

p.s. - take a look:

Your primary opinion is plain wrong, as a "fanboy" by definition would deny that anything is wrong with the sim.

As nobody is doing that here, there are no "fanboys! QED

The other side is the so called "whiners", again nobody can deny that those posts exist where there is only repeated lamenting about well known bugs and expressions of impatience.

Everybody has to decide where he/she/it sees himself and if his/hers/its position is productive or not.

Posting NEW faults, bugs and information is productive, posting known stuff much less so.

i'd like to add that i'm appalled to see members like lobisomem, a fervent defender of CLoD, changing his opinion to a more disappointed one. no doubt that if half the patch works (not like double FPS but a significant increase plus killing the memory leak) then things will get better on the short term.. but ppl isn't just 'making stuff up', there's reasons not to be satisfied right now.

however this and other threads didn't have to go this way; more passionate defenders could try to get these ppl back or at least understand and show a more positive view, like 'ok you go but i'm staying, i have both the patience and time', 'i respect your view but you'll respect mine and CLoD is working for me', things like that.. but coming up with things like 'don't let the door hit you', poking and flattening the poster's intelligence as if he was dumb (a classic trolling with various experts in here) leads to this.

i bet the critic faction loves CLoD more than of most of this self appointed defenders brigade; they criticize because they want to see it get better, and we all how it needs to. if repetition is a tone, than cope with it. it's not like the whole forum is filled to the brim with complaints; again i say: if complaints were treated fairly and with some humor, instead of being dismissed as childish etc, flame threads wouldn't exist.

so who's fueling the flames and for what??

btw cargy and David Hayward, JUST WRITE ONE SINGLE LINE about your gaming experiences, (even Raaaid posted a video of him playing for christ' sake ), troubleshooting, or helping someone, instead of this shooting behind the bushes; you throw rocks and hide the hand...

i'm not answering you directly. i made some sarcasm, that should be obvious; and your logic on this one isn't, by no means, 'unbreakable'.

you know Robtek i didn't like you at first but i'm in no way convinced you're troll, you just care too much (in a good sense) about CLoD, and get easily sensitive and somewhat blindfolded about it; remember that if ppl with good PCs (my case) can have trouble with CLoD, those more mainstream may have a nightmare. i think you just happen to side with the wrong jerks; if you don't like flame wars, there are ways and ways to avoid it.

and if i'm wrong about this, my bad.

So your saying Luthier has acknowledged every single bug posted here?

I would say 1 post by 1 person isn't enough. You may be intimate with every bug because your here constantly, Luthier and his team are not.

As far as the fanboi definition goes, if everytime you see a new person post a known bug you get filled with rage and need to deliver a beatdown right away with your keyboard, you are a fanboi.

If everytime you see someone post a bug more then once you have to grab the kleenex to wipe the tears and personally attack this menace to the community, you are a fanboi.

It doesnt bother me seeing bugs posted multiple times, it increases the chance said bug will be fixed. Nobody knows exactly which bugs the devs are working on, so don't say their working on it when you don't really know. The more people that post bugs they are experiencing, the more the devs will realize it needs attention. Let's face it, they are not going to fix every bug, just the ones that have caused the most uproar.

Exactly.

I use the sim a lot. But after some time the "missing" features and bugs, bad performance... all these don't let me evolve more into the sim.

Now i'm waiting for FOREVER to some patch that maybe never come. We have a LOT of porblems to be solved, and the fact that the graphics engine is so bugged that people need to rebuild the thing is shocking...

And we had all the lies: i was a "fanboy", but i remember all the LIES about performance issues: AE filter, "pseudo fullscreen"... Now we all know that the original graphics engine is so bugged that now we are all waiting for this new patch...

And now the lack of DECENT comunication with the dev team...

Really... how can i be a fanboy these days?!?!?!?!

Complaints in themselves, yes, should be treated fairly... the same with critiscism. You're quite correct there... but when complaints and critiscism turn into something nasty (which they have been) how should that be dealt with??
