Why do they even bother, I wonder...

Anyway, I post my movies on ubi and simhq, so you'll find them there.

ah ok,bandit_astronaut now i know who you are,... a really hard oponent! its true what you are saying about the hurri...it is competent against the 109s....i had the hardest times against hurris and not the spits.if you have equal energie and fly disciplined, you dont have to fear a spits, whereas hurris are a real threat.

If you put in here in the first place there wouldn't be a problem.

Default Suggestion to moderators about the video thread

Hello all,

I don't know why the moderators decided to move the "CoD videos" stickie to the CoD Multiplayer forum, but I must say that it think it is a very bad idea. It is evident that only a limited group of CoD simmers play multiplayer: just see how few are online at any given time. A lot more people are interested in watching CoD movies, but they don't visit the Multiplayer forum, so they are losing out on the videos altogether. Also, videos are about many many different aspects of the sim, and not just about flying online.

So, please put the video thread back into the main forum. The efforts to shoehorn discussions into frankly rather weird places are counterproductive. This sim has problems enough getting exposure, I don't see why the moderators should make it even more difficult for fans to read about what interests them.

I always put a link to my video postings in this thread.

Putting the video thread here in the Multiplayer forum is just a surefire way to make sure nobody comes to see the videos.

I really think the "housekeeping" of these threads has gone a bit overboard. Maybe just let people post a bit more freely?

I realise why you would want it back here and I agree to a point, but a fair compromise would be to have a sub-forum entitles "CoD Movie Making and Movie Vault"

That way it's highlighted where information about movie-making will be as-well as being a good archive to see videos?

Cheers, MP

I can agree with the idea of a dedicated movie forum, if they absolutely cannot go into the main forum.

In general I find that these many sub-forums are a bad idea. They haven't worked elsewhere (witness the earlier RoF forums) and they don't do much good here either...
