No one else is making WW2 flight sims. Where do you plan on going?

Atari released tons of games to a wider market that were substandard and poorly supported, look what happened to them. Bad and unsupported games fail no matter the size of the fanbase. Also the competition in the popular genres is much tougher, where as the competition in flight sims is barely no existent.

I would refer to the dealer, who's gonna apologise, take care of it, give me a courtesy car, fix the issue and give me the car back, valeted too.

Now I don't want this much of a service, all I'm asking is that the developers, like any other developer of videogames (again, take a look at what Studio 777 and NeoQB before them did with RoF), keep their customers up to date.

You know what the real drama is? Maddox Games has always had an erratic PR managing, as a consequence some outstanding features of the sim are not even known/reported, and people randomly find out by mistake, that's the true shame.

I take it you have played games before this and have good knowledge of games development from past titles. The fact that the developer speaks to us directly and usually weekly, with a touch of honesty as well, is more than any other software house has done in the entire history of me playing computer games. I respect that more than you would know. I have seen games that have bombed and not one of those has had the top honcho on their forums relaying information to us like Luthier does. They are usually released and abandoned, that's all we get from them.

ps I never implied you shouted.
I have yes, played PC games since the times of Yeager Air Combat and similar, and I've seen them all.. my concern is a constructive one, I'm not crying for performance issues or tracers here, if you have the time and patience to look in other threads I actually do defend Maddox Games work, cos under many aspects it's spot on.

Look, it's obvious you don't want to understand my point, shall we just agree to disagree?

of course, even bigger software houses can't pull that of an unlimited number of times. a few times they can get over with no problem, but after a point, the giants go down even faster than the smaller ones.

OK I can do that, I do not have the energy to keep this up for long anyhow.

Well I have to say one thing, I wouldnt be very happy with it but I doubt very much if we ever get updates again now whether they are serious or not..

Whatever is done or said now in these forums gets trashed so I would expect just a steam update with a readme attached from now on.

Whether I aggree with the way things are going or not, whether I'm classed as troll, whiner or fanboi the fact is these forums are a mess now which not even Perma bans would sort out (and there shoul be loads of them dished out on both side of the coin here...

I wouldn't expect much at all from Luthier or the Devs from this point on...

When they face a firing-squad every time they show themselves on the boards, I can't really blame them.
