Hello ContinuO,
I'm using the settings from a guy called Fifi. They're his BoS settings but they look amazing in Cliffs too!

Look at post number 20 in this thread;

http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/...whit-flightfx/

I'm using FlightFX to apply them.

The pictures are identical other than for the light/colour, so it doesn't seem to me that it can be a comparison between TF 4.0 and TF 4.3, because surely you'd have to restart the game and then the objects wouldn't be in the same place. Or am I wrong?

It's nothing to do with different versions of the game, Major. It's just a demonstration how the colours and light can be manipulated in the game using a post-processing effect called SweetFX. It also has FXAA injectors which helped give the game some anti-aliasing. Since Team Fusion has fixed that with this latest patch thats not important anymore but SweetFX also contains a Luma sharpening tool which can have a startling effect on the games textures.

I use an application called FlightFX to apply these changes, it's a really handy tool. It has no effect on framerates or online play either and can be applied to any game using DirectX. It can be enabled or disabled by a keyboard stroke. To take these screenies I merely paused the game and hit the print screen key.

What you do with it or not is a matter of personnal taste. Interesting effect though.

I like the first ones best, more natural colour. Second ones look too contrasty and artificial colour in comparison. (Without me knowing which is which). Just my 2 cents.
