Thanks again very much to all.

Thanks also Foo'bar you tips, i fixet also this clerical error later my Vimeo testing videos* and orginal video version credits. (* Vimeo HD conversion quality testing - differently Sony Vegas HD video/audio rendering settings → What is really best full HD settings and video formats for Vimeo (also 720p)? I personally do not full trust anymore Vimeo general recommendations this area, because they clearly do not always apply in all cases.

It would be interesting to read also more IL-2 series fans criticism comments, example does that sound like the radio speech the CloD simfilm in certain scenes correctly (British and German views, I ask)? So does that radio voice acting like they are in a short film some scenes possibly from the wrong?

I use mainly this CloD machinima simfilm radio voice actings new beta patch version radio voice actors sounds files and in a few scenes, i use also radio speech sound mods files (IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 – maybe Holy Grail productions, i not sure? But anyway big thanks also this authors) and only in one scene, I used the Battle of Britain (1969) movie voices (German He-111 bomber pilot asks; ”Where is the Royal Air Force?”).

Actual story scenes from the short film I will not change anymore orginal video, some scenes are intentionally keep fictional.

(Yes, I did have badly distracting lag/stuttering in Vimeo, but after turning HD off as you suggested, it was perfectly smooth. I dread to see how it will run at youtube, which often adds lag/stutters to even the best of uploaded movies.)
Thanks DoolittleRaider and good, i watch later also youtube area - what should I do with this yet (full HD quality in web flashplayers - The easiest way would be to upload the original video for some upload to a website for public download).

The “Battle of Britain Day-The Blitz” movie produced by “Barfly/Jokerxx” has been selected for showcasing at the Flight Sim Movies website where the Best of the Best FlightSim movies are presented and celebrated.

Congratulations once again, Barfly!!!

This is Barfly's fifth "Battle of Britain" movie recognized and placed at FSM, and this is the third using COD. Only one other movie using Cliffs of Dover has been accepted for showcasing at FSM.

Thanks a lot again centelemens

Here you can download the BoB Day – The Blitz orginal simfilm version (little fixed). If you want to watch also this even better full HD quality and without web flashplayer jerking. Sounds are not all film scene parts still in place, whole a relatively satisfactory level, however.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DFLHEUKP

Video file size: 748Mb
Video format: MP4

And remember, this must be watch also the big HD screen – No mobile screen.

Later i upload same short film also other test versions, because i not yet full happy this version video and audio quality. Must be testing also differend video/audio rendering settings (Sony Vegas -> Vimeo full HD conversion and also 720p).

I say also this again, so if this video lag badly your PC, put Vimeo flash player HD setting "OFF" and try watch this video again SD quality.
Hi JokkerFX. Thanks for sharing such well-made video's.

If you don't mind, could you tell me/us which codec and settings you use to export your video footage out of the game? Is it one of the default ones that comes installed with the game (most of which don't work well or at all) or one you've added later? I usually use FRAPS to capture the video, but would like to know if there's a better way of using the game to export AVI's than what I've seen so far. Thanks.

Thanks Les, I use this codec in CloD video records.

x264vfm – H.264/MPEG-4 AVC codec (read also this site all info)

http://komisar.gin.by/index.html

I have just discovered that best the CloD video capture quality is obtained when using the ”uncompressed” video record setting (Track player feature ”game replay” / video record), but at least in my case, finish CloD video record shots must yet then still coverted Sony Vegas video editing software to fit the format. I use for this area Total Video Converter software and also VirtualDub (Also others video conversion softwares may be better alternatives).

http://www.effectmatrix.com/total-video-converter/

http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/

FRAPS software I've written a few words here

http://vimeo.com/29912068

And Sony Vegas video editing and rendering areas i use x264 / AVC method, timej31 send to me two days ago a good tutorial video link, so watch also this.

But bitrate a recommendation i have a slightly different view, so when the full HD video contains several clips and may take several minutes or more, this setting is also important for the quality of the finished video sounds, so perhaps in this case, the Sony Vegas / AVC bitrate setting it must be higher than 10Mbs (< 12-16Mbs). But i must yet testing more this area (BoB Day – The Blitz is now also good testing video in this case).

Maybe i must be make also tutorial video in Vimeo ”How use CloD Track player and video record features + Sony Vegas”, but i say again, maybe (the culprit is the time). Anyway, Clod replay features is yet little bugs, hope also that fixed near future (sometimes some objects and visual effects is invisible in Tracks (Gameplay replay tracks – Example in my case, when i making that BoB Day video i use also London environment (mission editor) british balloons objects, but they is in invisible in my gameplay replays).

I hope this message has something to help

Thanks for the info Barfly.

I already have a version of the x264 codec installed from another source and haven't been able to get it to work when selecting it from the drop-down list in game. I did test it out recently though by converting a FRAPS AVI to MP4 and the resultant file size and image quality were very good. I might try that version you linked to and see if that works.

As you say, the Uncompressed setting looks best. If it comes down to it I can just use that and compress/convert the (huge) files later, in order to make them easier to edit with. As it is, I'll probably still use FRAPS most of the time in order to avoid the replay system bugs you mentioned, but it's good to know if I need the extra frame-rates the export AVI option is there.
