Default High Quality Video presentation of your movies

The Avsims.com site is up in all it's new glory.

Video presentation and support is planned to be an important part of the site.

Some interesting things are at work.

Play the award winning video from BarFly and carefully watch.

Be sure to move your cursor completely off the screen when the video starts.

Looks like I don't have to worry about iMovie editing any more

My wife picked up CS5.5 Master Collection with two licenses (she said she got the master collection instead of just the photo shop stuff so that I'd get the video editing stuff since I've been interested in it).

So Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects here I come!

PS: My wife is amazing.

Wow, congratulations. You'll have a lot more options now. Those programs will allow you to exercise an insane degree of creative control over your video's.

At the same time, be prepared for lots of reading of the manual and watching tutorial video's, and much swearing at the frustrating aspects of the software, which all brands of software of that level of complexity have...

blah blah blah...

Have fun with it.

blah blah blah etc. etc...

This simfilm project was not easy. I mean mainly this short film ”world of sound”, when the video editing is used in more than one audio track (this video, I used five different audio tracks). The hardest part was these synchronization, because the various sound effects are significant qualitative differences and what the more a other audio tracks, so the harder it is make to good-sounding package.

Now is Vimeo Plus, so i get to the best possible HD features. I also did a few corrections to the original video, because I was not very happy my first BoB - The Kanalkampf version upload (headaches).

Anyway here is new version (first crap version will be removed).

Video to test the "phantom" Steam patch. All settings Very High except trees and Land Detail. Impressive performance in my modest rig now.

I'm happy with the progress!

Default Check out video presentation on avsims - need feedback

A lot of work has been going on at the avsims site for video and media presentation. Would appreciate comments or feedback on the HD presentations. There are only 3 videos up from Barfly. The Battle of Britain 2.0 is IL2 1946 with mods. The other two are Cliffs of Dover.

The video renders well on my computer, but it is a pretty good system. We are interested to know how other systems handle the larger screen resolution and still maintain a high quality presentation.

Slide your cursor off the screen when player starts for titles to go away. The full screen that fills your computer screen is next, but we haven't had as much luck so far with quality of presentation.

http://avsims.com and click on view videos you don't have to register to view videos

The high quality presentations are from Vimeo HD. Vimeo provides the ability through programming to eliminate ads when you develop your player with that in mind.

Anyone wanting to fly outside the English Channel still has some very excellent options with the modified IL2 Sturmovik

Please comment on the site
