there are ships in the current online strikes a Bristol Beaufighter/mossie or both would be great as would be some other heavy bombers like the afore mentioned Lancaster and possibly the Fw 200

Default Talk of a sequel to BoP? What would you like?

Reading the Apache Air Assault thread i see talk of a sequel to BoP, and having a quick (very quick, im watching platoon in preparation to playing some BC:Vietnam) look through the forum i dont see much on it.

So..what would you like in a sequel? realistically?

For me, the grahpics are superb, all i want are -

Hawker Hurricane WITH a Merlin sounding engine like the Spitfires and P51.

Still the European combat theatre (sorry pacific lovers)

And more than anything... LANDING BRAKES for my joystick

Myself and mac were talking after out tournament match, last night and both admitted that we were total gambits for this game!

I would instantly buy a re skinned BoP, but looking at the advances made in Apache then it's clear there will be some graphical improvement.

If I had to choose I would say it needed to include more allied bombers, maybe a Lancaster or B-25 (with carriers so we can recreate pearl harbour! Both the film, and the historic event). I would love it to take place in the pacific theatre to, but I'm not too fussed.

Most of all, I would love more multiplayer modes and an Axis campaign (full cockpits please ) a co-op mode would be ace and not to hard as they did that in Apache, didn't they? All I'll suggest is to make the enemy dogfight better, make them behave realistically for simulation mode. Don't flood a group with 1million bogies. We are not Sparta!

I would like the pacific.
To be honest though id happily buy another BOP if it was supported properly and had a bit more in the campaign

An Avro Lancaster would be nice, very nice!! Along with a De Havilland Mosquito

The graphics i like, the scenery i like, and to be fair i think i speak for everyone when i say its to an acceptable standard (looks great).

CO OP would be incredible, not like Apache Air Assault though with its own seperate co op missions, but more like the whole single player campaign as co op. In single player you have wingmen, so simply replace a wingman with a friend who can fly with you and help out. Would make it superb.

A small thing i would like to be thrown in is the ability to free fly online, without having to set up a DM to do it.

Im not a huge fan of the pacific but the idea of flying a B25 as part of the dolittle raid sounds good
