Itis cool when it happens right, and hard to land with that type damage which is very challenging.

But also, to me it is annoying that the fastest plane can sometime get no damage while the slow one takes all the damage. It should be equal.

i dont think that it is depending on the speed but on the structural soundness.
The trailing edge is usually not as strong as the leading edge.

109 lost a wing tip and quickly spiralled into the ocean. i watched it as it went down, thinking, it looks so realistic ! .. but then thinking .. stupid AI! The 109 attacked @ 6 oclock high, usually death against a defiant but AI gunner had wasted all ammo on long range shots so just watched on .. but no need to fear, slight rudder on the defiant meant the 109 kept shooting to the side .. and continued like that until VERY close then tried to bank away .. sorry too close, i'll trade you a wing tip for a rudder ! DONE!

The clouds certainly add drama. Not only that, but when you are flying among them they do something to the way the light shines and reflects off the aircraft.

I'm not sure what they changed, but it is very welcome. Thanks Team Fusion

It was a nightfighter squadron from it's conception - later used Beaus and Mossies. Not all machines were painted all black.
