What always draws a smile on my face when playing a game are those moments where you notice those small details that only a labor of love produces. There is so much love poured into this game by the developers in all the tiny details, the huge map, the endless possibilities that it hurts even more that it still suffers from the premature birth, and with all the stuff they have tried to achieve it would take a team of twice the size to do it completely stable at the release day unfortunately... There is so much potential...

Hello!, For me its the feeling of "you are in a war" of the sim, especially in the ATAG server, the shadows, the cockpits, the illumination and all helps in the Atmosphere, i always love to take off when i enter atag, an cross the chanel whit my 109 and then returning to home whit a smile and a bunch of holes in mi wings!, and of corse, the satisfatcion of take down a plane, no mater what plane its is, its an event to see how you damaged the plane and how is going down

Bringing you plane home safely (and mostly intact) in multiplayer. Nothing more immersive to me than trying to RTB with or without damage. I had a BF-109 hounding me one time as I was out of ammo and just trying to get back to base...

to late to add something realy new, but i aggree with 98%.
The control configurations are great, because it allows to run the sim with so much differnet & important (some are homemade) control devices.
My cockpit is my castle.

I believe that there is a lot of good in the current game, and that people at MG put already a lot of passion and years of dedicated work in Cliffs of Dover.

I believe also that it is big time to say what is good, very good or exceptional in this sim. Things that make us go back playing the game, and - often - enjoying it.

I would like that this thread becomes the place for B6 and Luthier to have a fresh breath, remotivate themselves - and have no more excuses about updates

WHAT DO I LIKE MORE IN CLIFFS OF DOVER?

Have fun,

Great thread, nice to share some optimism. I bought CloD just recently and feared the worst in terms of performance and bugs etc but I'm absolutely loving it. It looks gorgeous, runs nicely and plays wonderfully.

I'm still new to flight/combat sims in general but I've learned a huge amount in the week I've been flying in this sim. CEM and general flight control was so daunting at first but I dove right into the deep end. I feel fairly confident in general flight now, though I'm still rather dire when in combat lol

When I feel more confident I look forward to take to the skies in multiplayer, still a lot of learning to do first though.
