Nevermind. All messages just stopped etc, steam falling behind I guess. How could they have broken this?

I was in the server earlier today when this happened. I'd flown across the channel to France, and the only contact with blue was a single 109, angled up 60 degrees and sometimes inverting, moving forward at maybe 60mph like some kind of RC plane. My gunnery wasn't the greatest but I did score a few good hits, even got his rudder off, but nothing seemed to affect it.

On my flight back to Hawkinge the server caught up and spammed messages everywhere. I'm thinking there might've been a delay in everything else too (not just chat) based on that 109 described above. Either that or there was a bugged 109 in the air and I happened to visit France after all the blue players left for England.

I did not (it was the ATAG Server). As Bliss stated he's not using HL at the moment, and assuming my problem was actually due to lag/desync, then there's either a problem with Steam, CoD, or both - something quite severe that warrants looking at if it continues to cause problems.

I was asked if Repka servers can be listed on Hyperlobby.

As I can not find a FAQ or manual for CloD server owners on the HL site could you please update the first post with step-by-step instructions on how to do it?

I am not the server owner and asked BigRepa if he wants the servers to be listed about a month or 2 ago but he does not have time to go in details being busy with server stability, hardware and software issues. He is not registered here and it looks like I have to provide a simple 1-2-3 steps guide to him.

On my side I have 2 questions:

Version HyperLobby 4.2.12 is the only one in free access. Added on: 14-Feb-2011 Does it support CloD or when CloD version will be in free access (no registration requirement)?

How to remove HL prefix is server browser? It makes an already long server/mission name prohibitively long to fit the available space. The browser reduces the font size to make the name fit into the available space which looks really ugly.

There are step by step instructions if you click the first link in the first post.

There's a reason for registration at the HL site, all discussion regarding the beta is to be made there and not here, the reason for this is to stop fragmenting information across two forums.

The server name can be manually edited in the conf file.

Struggling to register at your site getting this error:
Quote:
ataros@list.ru has already been registered or is blocked
Then if I try to reclaim the password using this e-mail I get:
Quote:
Sorry, no corresponding user info was found
I had to enter the security code about 6 times trying to login, register or get password. Even 1C forums do not ask for security code every time you login, it is not very user friendly enough in the 21st century you know I do not think we can ask our user-base to get through this unfriendly process.

When the HL client will be freely available without registration?

Its still in beta, but until CoD/Steam fixes its multiplayer stability, and the CooP interface becomes usable its going to be a while.

There were a few servers on HL but most of those disappear after Steam shuts down and restarts their servers.

Long way to go yet before CoD delivers IL2 1946 pilot numbers on HL.

I will have a look at your HL registration.

Thank you! I suspect mail.ru / list.ru domains are blocked (which is sad as they are the "Gmail" for Russia). Have more success with gmail.com now but I've got a message that my application needs to be approved. This is the most complex registration I had since 2007 I think most sites send activation link in the 1st message
