The terrain does look a bit on the bright side, but I won't complain, as I have no clue or idea how to produce a pc game

Anyway, when I look down on the UK, these are the colours I see. (Ignore the subject matter, it's what I get up to at the weekends)

Fortunately the planes and the water look good and probably adjusting color saturation slider in the video drivers will make it bearable.

I dont get it, what is there to fix? U just gave the solution yourselfe, adjusting colours on YOUR screen (a feature most, if not all monitors have).

Funny how people keep whining about the screen shots, even with AA magic wont happen, and in my eyes the screens are just fine..
We've seen the insane details thats been put into the models already and in the videos we've seen you can really see the amazing lightning and effects etc.

You also have to remember that static screen shots always look worse than the thing itself in motion,
but i personally don't see anything wrong with them and I am very thankful for Oleg and the dev team and all their hard work.. people should appreciate it more.

Last but not least people whining about the marketing, i am just wtf? First of all both the trailer and screens are just fine,
secondly it defiantly looks 2011 or you should have your eyes fixed.(talking about the trailer) Thirdly this is only the beginning of the marketing, maybe take a chill pill ?

Proves the point that the same area (or at least same "objects") can look vastly differant depending on light.

Indeed, people are getting ridiculously obsessed with lightning as if a country always has a certain amount of sunshine or defined filter to it, which is just bullshit.
Time to grow some knowledge. Oleg can't cater to everyones personal satisfaction.

Dear Oleg

Many thanks for the cooming soon Cliffs of Dover which I´ve already pre ordered a copy of the Collector´s Edition.

However, as the title indicates, the Cliffs of Dover DON´T HAVE TREES ON THE BEACHEs just gravel, sand and seaweed, so I think that´s a must to be corrected.

Also, as you can see in the photo, there are no trees as well nearby on top of the cliffs just, grass and some shrubs and as CoD happened in mid-late summer of 1940, you can notice the different tone of the green colors and what we´ve seen in photos and videos of CoD by so far, is more springtime colors than summertime. So, these colors are a must to be corrected too.

Sorry for these observations but me like everybody else who loves your sim want it to be accureted as possible.

Best regards,

Mad G

Off-Topic

It never fails, why you guys can't stay on topic.

I can understand an ignorant person not knowing how to stay on topic, but I don't think that is the case around here. I think it has to be a contempt thing. You have contempt for the developer and air it out when they are just trying to respond to the community with updates.

Many of you probably deserve a ban, then we get to read all your whines about how you are being picked upon.

If you have made Off topic postings... go back and edit or delete them.

This is where it's going:

At the end of this day, Friday (today, date of the the update), if things don't change this thread will be locked. You can then whine, share your disdain and lack of respect for the developer on some other site.

Numerous complaints for Off-topic have been reported.

Thumbs up Keep 'Silvering' the sim

Screen shots all look very good Oleg, especially the Bf110's. Also like the town landscapes and airfield.

Keep 'silvering' the sim, its always the way, you spot something that can be better before you release it.

Looking forward to getting my 'Gold' copy in March.
