I noticed this too; did the same thing(checked settings) and concluded they either added it last minute or couldn't find the chap that put down the voice overs earlier in the game. lol, just a minor annoyance(unless you own said sdtv; had the same problem with a bunch of games when I first got my 360... until I upgraded my Tv) and if you miss what was said, DON'T PANIC! It will pop up again ten seconds later.

I have the same problem man, I have a crt 32 inch piece of garbage and i cant read the subtitles I'm gonna have to buy an hdtv
