Waiting for SoW is like waiting to win the lottery without even having bought a lottery ticket!! I really hope Oleg gives us a bit more hope while we wait for this release, it's been SO long already. I enjoyed IL2 for so many years, however I just decided to stop playing it until the release of Storm of war.

It has often been said that war is made up of extended periods of great boredom, with fleeting moments of great excitement. So far, SoW's development has modelled that perfecty.
Ah well. At least it's free.

True. The excitement is somewhat undermodelled.
Although a patch is due in September that may remedy this.
