Has anyone else noticed this since Anton said it wasn't in the game?

Screen just turns a little red, more like an Effect then a true red-out i think.

Still its like a stump of a tree, it can be made to grow again.
In other words, if thats there then it cant be too hard to implament red/black outs. |

Putting blackouts/redouts into the game would be as simple as changing one line of code, since it is already ingame and the only reason you can't use it now is that it has been disabled because it was reported as a glitch.

Yeh, Do you think they had a bunch of 12yo playing the game then? Well they must be to report red-outs and black-outs as a glitch!

Yeah, probably. They should have left them in Sim mode though because anyone who chooses to play Sim will know what blackouts and redouts are.

So they were probably testing the game and noticed the screen go black when they pulled an unrealistic arcade 12g loop and the developer started to explain, "well it's a blackout because....." ADD tester interrupts, "don't have time for you to explain what it is, take it out, take it out, it's a bug!" In short, we get a dumbed down experience for a dumbed down audience - honestly I think they should reconsider who their audience is. The dang black outs can be turned on and off in IL2 on the pc, removing them for the consoles makes no sense. I think even ADD types can figure out how to turn settings on and off. |

Still I think it shows that the ability to have red outs and black outs is easily there. This first console attempt needs to pave the way for more sophisticated sims later. If it can sell well. The marketing could be a bit more aggressive however.
It will be left to us to spread the word on this one I think. |
