i emailed steam regarding the lack of a patch. here is the reply.


Thank you for contacting Steam Support.

We are aware of the update. We are working on getting it released. Please keep your game files up to date so when the update is released it will be added to your account.

Oh the frikking irony...yeah, I will try keep my game files up to date, because thats always good *cough*

But damn they are slow, how hard can it be to add an update???

IM not sure but i suspect like anything some companies pay for faster support. i also found that quip about keeping my game current rather silly in light of the situation.
