Sorry I can not say the variant. I only know it was a bomber and was shot down in Russia. The father of a friend in Germany flew in it as a Radioman, bailed and survived, badly hurt. These are the only data he can remember
As far as I know, LV shoud be the Unit Code and 3U the Staffel code and the number of plane in that Staffel. |

Or may be the code is reversed, then 3U+LV, is the right one. In this case, would "V" for Staffel, and "L" for plane in the Staffel, be correct according to the Luftwaffe Standard Codes?
