Noob Questions

I downloaded the KBS Scanner and the DB Edit Tool.
I follow the instructions till the point I open the savedata.txt, then, I see a huge text and don't understand much. To begin with, where is the line I edit to change for example WHAT is SOLD and WHERE?
It's so easy to see it in the savedata.rpt file and so hard to find it in the savedata.txt or I'm missing something?
