Endless Bridge Bug

I'm trying to fight the (weak) troop guarding the Endless Bridge - but I can't see the battlefield! I only see clouds. It wouldn't be a huge issue if I could still click to cast spells or direct my army, but I can't do that either. All I can do is hit defense for everyone and hope the enemy gets bored enough to suicide on my troops.

That doesn't seem like the best battle plan. Can anyone help? I can't even take a screenshot, as it just shows what's running underneath the game =/

EDIT:
I'm running Windows 7, and I've got two mods installed. I don't know how to disable them and deleting the files causes the game to crash when loading from save. The mods are Army Shop and Soulbook2.
