Well, I never used morale items, and I never went for EXP gear. If you do, you will do better than me. While Martin feels like a good companion, based on your mileage, Roin can be heaps better.
In my game I still had only 1 healing spell, and I never managed to finish the Life Light (only 2 in my game, so I didn't even care buying it) and Healing (only 1 in my game) quest for the Magic department. Go level 5 units for me? No, no, no. Huge no
