Default looking for a throttle

i already own a joystick and i am very happy with it (T16000)

but to have more immersion i would like to have a "true" throttle and not just the slider of t16000, with more rotaries etc

may you please tell me good throttle models ? maybe with joy too, but that a can detach to just use the throttle with the t16000

The more popular brands have a few throttle controllers. They connect to a USB port, so they can be used with a separate joystick.

For example:

CH Pro Throttle (Single, slides, HOTAS style)

CH Throttle Quadrant (6 levers)

Saitek Throttle Quadrant (3 levers, designed to fit together so you can buy two for 6 levers)

Saitek TPM (Cessna style)

If you want rotaries, something like a Saitek X-55 could work(Has a USB throttle).
It's an expensive bit of kit(especially if you'd only use the throttle), but if you're really looking to get into the hobby, you could consider buying a HOTAS setup(Joystick and throttles together) like that.

CH also has a stick to go with its throttle, and Thrustmaster makes the famous Warthog.

Those of us that use the msffb stick seems to use the saitek x52 throttle which has its own usb lead and does not need to be connected to the stick. It's recognised as an independent controller by windows. I have one but would hestitate to recommend it if you're thinking of getting it new, but if you can get one off flea bay for a modest price then go for it. There is an older version of it called the x45 but the throttle connects to the computer via the stick. Some have turned the stick part into an axis/button board, Bearcat did it if IIRC. Ithink there ate some pics on this board if you have a good look round

Other stick throttle combo's prices for me verge on the insane, thrustmaster warthog for example or the logitec G940. I don't know how long you've been flying but for me it's been getting the kit a piece at a time, rudder pedals are more or less a requirement if you plan to stay some time. They add greatly to the "flying" sensation and can help with shooting. Track ir is also a great piece of kit although, again very expensive, but once you've used it few go back to the hat switch. If you are "handy" you might like to make your own throttle by butchering an old cheap usb joystick to make a throttle. Check out Sim HQ, they have a pit builder section where such things are discussed. Sokol if he's about, is a great source of info.
Building your own would certainly be cheaper but when you factor in your time sometimes it's just better to bite your lip and pay up! I must have spent hundreds by now to play a game you can get for a few bucks...happy flying.
