The only oddity I get on mine is the loss of FF if I alt tab out or hit the "windows" key. I've used my MSFF2 in both XP32 and Vista 64.

I used to get the same loss of FF with my gameport version in XP. Maybe your "grip" sensor has worked loose. That's the little critter that looks to see if you're gripping the stick.

Looks like you have to crack it open and carefully clean it & super carefully re-asseble the stick ...

someone told me that this discontnued item will be in production (if it's not allready) by a Japanese firm ... in that case i will buy a 6pack!!! ...

Would also be great if someone would hack the software, so that it will be usable under windows 7 etc.

I bookmarked this one sometime ago. I set it a bit of a challenge, Il-2 demo and gameport MSFFB1 + USB Thrustmaster Top Gun Afterburner... initial impressions were not good for Pinnacle. Couldn't assign keypress to hatswitch direction and have it work in game. The idea was say, F3 to look up, and then use S + F3 for flyby view. Works fine with Sidewinder software, which is why I'll be hanging on to XP for as long as possible. Then I'll start experimenting.
