My IL2 is stable and as good as in Vista or XP. I just installed Windows 7 on a separate harddrive, installed drivers for Win7 from Windows Update.
(Q9550 - 8800GTX - 4GB RAM). TIR4, Saitek drivers as well as TS are fine too. I can run IL2 from the original drive, but I copied the Ubisoft folder to my Win 7 harddrive in order to make HL happy enough to find the game. You need to to use the graphic drivers that are supplied from Windows Update.
