Default Floating yellow (damage) text glitch

During battles, the yellow text that pops up to indicate damage dealt/received seems to have overlapping issues. Here is a screenshot to show an example:

Is this a problem with newer video cards (Geforce GTX 760) or Operating systems (Windows 7 HP 64 bit) or something else??

Does this happen every battle, or just when units is under burning/poison effect ? Because this looks like some units in screenshot (all 3 bowman stacks and your peasants) are burning AND taking dmg from spell armageddon you used.
Side comment, nice mana pool for first level paladin

this can happen regardless of the damage type inflicted, I have confirmed. I was just using cheats and causing armageddon so that I could provide a screenshot of multiple units taking damage at once to show how random it is.

UPDATE: I have discovered, with further research, that the problem is caused by the damage count and casualty count of each unit stack displaying simultaneously in the same place (just look at the overlapping numbers and the combat log in the screenshot). I was able to remove the casualty count by going into the game cfg file and changing the value of setf ~showflyingdead from 2 to 0. But it would be nice if I could see both numbers NOT overlapping.
