Station Merc Script is where?
Sorry to be annoying, but I thought I should just ask here.
About the location of the Merc Scripts, used by stations. Multiple reasons. 1) To try and disable the Merc replace sections of the script, which could allow for unlimited Mercs. Has this already been done? 2) Incorporate a different type of Merc Recruitment, In the Form of Capital ships. 3) Adding Merc teams with a capital ship support. Repairs, Re-arm and more Star Wolves Oriented. 4) Investigate the possibility of enabling faction recruitment for protection duties. Of course this could go bad if they faction is hostile, Or it could be good for free XP for your pilots.... Depends on how you look at it. As I do not recall anything about Merc Scripts in the last couple of weeks of Reading the forums. Someone might be able to point me in the correct direction. Be safe. |

Leads me to believe it is the pay request for Mercs, when you enter a new system/Map/Mission... So some of the way there, but a open space before i get to my destination. |

1) This seems Possible to do, I Guess the file you need to Edit is some Script file, but i don't which 2) I Think that isn't possible (I may be wrong) 3) You mean Merc squads with Capital Ships? this can Easly be done by editing the Create_flight_2.script and the ShipDescriptions.xml File. but if you mean a Capital Ship where the mercs can Escape to & Dock, I Really think this isn't possible, but it COULD be made with Heavy scripting 4) Propably only possible with scripts If you want like Bigger squads, like 50 or more you propably need to edit the files i mentioned at 3) |

Thank you for the direction.
Create_flight_2.script and the ShipDescriptions.xml I thought the Create_flight_2.script was created by Nanaki. Or at least that is what i downloaded for an edited to give Military and trade Convoys Randomly. I ave been looking for the military convoys for a while now. I do not think I found any. even using the visibility through debug mode. ShipDescriptions.xml I understand enough. XML and its constituents are easy from my perspective.
