ATI settings in IL-2
Hi everyone,
I'm new here to this forum ) IL-2 has got no ingame-settings for graphics as f. ex. AA oder AF or VSYNC, so you have to manually set the graphic settings in your CCC (Catalyst Control Center) if you have got an ATI Video Card. In order not to always make my graphic settings manually before flying with IL-2 I created some profiles in the CCC (called presettings) and assigned some hotkeys. If I press "Ctrl-ALt-I" for example, IL-2 launches as wanted but none of my assigned graphic settings are activated (f. ex. VSYNCH) which is why I alwasy have to do the graphic settings manually every time I want to play IL-2 and set them back afterwards. Someone gave me the hint that profiles only don't work with IL-2. No problems did exist with other games. Any advice is welcome, I can't believe that all IL-2 gamers with ATI videocards allways do their graphic settings manually before lauching IL-2... Greetings from Germany Schneider P.S. Sorry, wrong Sub Forum, can't delete message... Last edited by Lt. Schneider; 07-14-2013 at 04:24 PM. Reason: Wrong forum |

You can set up profiles using the ATI Catalyst SW can't you but you shouldn't have to reset it.

ATI profiles currently don't work with OpenGL. Since I only have one game that is OpenGL (IL2) I use my IL2 profile for my default system setting and then my other games use their DirectX profiles to change settings as required.
