Default Turning the engine sound ONLY down. How?

In COD and now the new russian game coming out I really hope their will be a way to turn down the engine drone on its own. I have tinitus and loud droning noises upset the industrial deafness even in small doses. Can anybody from 1C or the community advise how to turn down the engine drone?

I think you have 3 bars in the Sound-Menu of CloD to adjust different sound-volumes. One should also inclued the Engine-Sound.

If you don`t have a special bar for the engine, turn everything else in the game louder and ajust the overal-PC-loudnes.

Hope that helps....

Btw: As a musician I have ear-protection that is individually fitted to my ear. Something like this:

WORTH EVERY PENNY! Sound is great, Protection as well.

Perhaps you could run your system sound through a mixer, then reduce the frequencies that cause your auditory problem.

The trouble is with ear protection, for a guitarist & singer, is that you can't hear how well you are singing with it and all the guys wearing protection make themselves louder to compensate. Best thing to do is all play quieter - try telling that to a drummer!

I have the luck to play with a drummer knows how to play softly. But still there are situations where it has to be amplified and loud (gigs...). Or if you play in orchestras....

As I said: i can only recommend it, for anyone, at all times...!
