If you like the genre, search for "As de pique" Ace of pike, it's an argentinian comic based on a B17 crew. It's message is mainly anti-bellicist, but a nice read.
I don't know if it was translated to english. It makes some mistakes on planes and scenarios.
Also, you could search for "Le Grand Duc" from Yann and Hugault. Clasic french comic with incredible colour scenes, and females art... placed mainly in russia on 1943, but I suspect the lingerie employed is from a later date...
