The only thing that wasn't perfect with your movie was the stationary camera: remember for the future that you should move forward with it by holding LPM and moving mouse until you see that the camera doesn't move when rotating anymore. But it's just a small detail and everything else was perfect so I'd recommend this one to anyone
Oh, and the Americans had cameras recording in color, but in the theaters it was B&W, like your movie, so it surely is a theater programme.
Once again: REALLY great job!

Yes that is true. One scene where it is worse is the B29 take- off and it's obvious that the camera is out of center and wobbly. For a scene like that I usually park a plane, like a P38, and use it as a camera with the cockpit turned off and with trackIR it makes for a good hand held camera effect. I used that method a lot, but I wanted to fly the B29 myself so it had to be a static cam for that one.

Great job! Good to see a movie with a story once again. The story-telling IL-2 movies of the 2004-2008 glory years of flightsim movie-making are missed.

Hopefully in my next one I'll be able to avoid all the mistakes I made in this one that detract from realism. I would like for the average layperson to not-notice that it came from a flight sim.

I discovered in Virtual dub that I can download and 'load' more effects into the video filters area so I re-did the movie with an old-style effect with scratches and noise:
