Default Clod and buttkickers

I haven't been using this sim for a while and while i've been away I have made myself a buttkicker. The problem I have is the sub output that my bass shaker is connected to only seems to work if I am looking directly at an engine when in the cockpit. For example if i'm in a spit the bass shaker works when looking straight ahead but stops if I look to the side. Does anyone else use a bass shaker and get this problem? Is there anything that can be done about it?

Use Left and right Front as a bass source instead of the subwoofer. Patch cord experimentation required. I never could get a subwoofer to stabilize my buttkicker. Using L & R, the sound will still change with the view, but the BK will be relatively reliable with engine and gunfire input.
