I will load the map which I want to use, I go to F3 and place soldiers and ship/boat, load the soldiers into ship/boat, then click F1 and try to move the ship/boat and nothing happens?
Also, can I control destroyers for shore bombardment? Thank you DJSatane for all your help recently! It is greatly appreciated! Nanuuq |

You need to understand basics of map making, such as having actual water and it matching water level. Ship has to be in water for it to operate properly, further soldier has to be in the slot thats designated as ship operator, in some ships thats not easy to notice, also using g_link to crew ship works. Some ships work differnet than others in terms of they are able to land on shore or link up with land.

Search dms forums the men of war and mowas sections. g_link is quite simple basically you can attach almost anything into slots that are available to soldiers etc, you select lets say crane, then u select locomotive and in console (~ key ) type g_link, locomotive should be hanging from a crane, this is just example, just be ware if u type g_link again it may jump to another possible slot etc...
There are also script commands that can attach entities... |

Thank you for the G_Link tutorial.
I hate to keep asking, but, how do I get the boundary/cloud lines to move/adjust to my map? I start my maps by creating small areas then adding to them, and I dont know howe to move the fog lines or others for that matter? And what does each color line represent? Nanuuq |
