Bad Localization ? It's just some voicework for an intro, and it is far from uncommon that what is said doesn't match with texts.. trust me
 But good translation, and yeah it's no HoMM V, but it isn't supposed to be  And i definately think that they could take some hints from Kings Bounty  @Lord loffen: Hmm that would explain it, only got a sword and a staff that granted me about 300 leadership.
