LOFT mentioned that he is in charge of CloD now and even thinks about how to make a Win8 compatibility patch for CloD. Contact him if they can send a request to NV through their channels. Should not take more than 5 minutes probably.
Clearly this is not their priority. |

Have all of you that have and are using Sli tried Luthier's Sli code release?, if not give it a try, I have installed it and it is working for me.
Would still like to see some official support from Nvidia though.

Are you giving up on Sli Katdog or just upgrading?. I'm running 2 x GTS 450's and have good performance. Your GTX 460's should be great for C.o.D. in Sli, they will eat B.o.S. with the engine they will be using.

Too bad, because i just upgraded to a 3x24'' (1290x1200) and i really need working SLI for that. I guess I will have to park CLOD and wait for BOS, since ROF SLI is working great for me and if they are using the same engine i assume SLI will work in BOS.

jcenzano,
How did you instal Luthier's profile? does it show in Nvidia Inspector?, if not then it hasn't been installed correctly. Also if you have updated the drivers then the profile will have to be re-installed as it has no official support with Nvidia and will be deleted with the new driver instal. Luthier's profile is easy to instal if you follow the correct proceedure. Luthier mentions a profiler from the Russian site, you don't need that, Nvidia Inspector will do the same thing and is easy to use. There are a couple of tricks that I've applied on top of the profile and I now have smooth performance even down at roof level over London. The main reason Sli works well with R.o.F. is that the fps are limited (now there's a clue for you). If you would like to try again I will help.

This works. tried it last night and went from 10-25 fps to 30-80 fps 470's in SLI. 296.10 drivers are the last ones that worked properly for me. Any newer drivers throttle one of my cards back to 5%. Both cards match each other in Afterburner too |

I can get the same performance with my Sli but have the fps limited to 35 and find the game play is smooth now.
If you want to try the fps limit do that in your afterburner and in Nvidia Inspector as well. Cheers Rick
