Default Clickable cockpit without CEM?

Is it possible to use the clickable cockpit without CEM enabled? I'm getting to grips with the sim (latest patch got me to install it and it runs very nicely for me) but I am not running with CEM enabled.

I want to get there with baby steps, so last night I flew the Blenheim check flight mission. After landing, I wanted to shut down engines using the fuel cock wheels.

My mouse cursor changed to the little hand, but nothing happened when i clicked, or clicked and dragged. Is this normal, or is there an additional setting I should have on?

I'm reluctant to switch to full CEM yet, but still want to experiment with it.

thanks

smith
