Default New Nvidia beta drivers and still no trace of an official SLI profile

on NOV 28th Nvidia released the 310.64 - BETA drivers and guess what...

NO SLI PROFILE!!!!

And the so called "final patch" was made oficial and launched to steam a while ago...

I gues nVidia refuses to work on a piece of software which is not even supported by its own devs.

too bad, because any of the unofficial SLI profiles or the one provided by Luthier(RIP) work smoothly for me

Frustrating I know, posted a request on the Nvidia forums (1/11/12) for an official Sli profile but have had no reply. There have been 3 beta releases since then, I'm begining to wonder if the team even put a request to Nvidia for support.

Sent a PM to Black Six on the Sli progress with Nvidia, his answer was : -

"Sorry can't answer that as the people responsible for that have left the team."

Doesn't sound like we will see any "official" support from Nvidia.

I'm afraid that what we've got is a good as it's going to get. CloD is done. No more official updates of any kind.

so much for my 3x1920x1200 config...

At least ROF (and I assume BOST) has working SLI.

SLI was never going to have a profile, we were just fobbed off constantly by Luthier. I remember asking him well before release about SLI, and he assured us then that it would work out of the box, his exact words were, 'of course it will work, why wouldn't it'. Then on release he blamed the epilepsy filter for breaking SLI, then when the filter was removed it still didn't function.

why don't you forget it already ??? there's no SLI official support for CLoD, afaik Nvidia doesn't even know about CLoD. and if it does, it doesn't want it's name associated with it.

SLI went down the same river that took the clouds, weather, everything that was promised and never made it to light.

again, take a look

so CLoD is what it is, let's hope the new BOS doesn't disappoint, these guys now have the experience of a failed product so maybe they can avoid some pitfalls and make better development choices
