Default Poblem with AI landing behaviour, is this a bug.

Hello all, I'm fairly new to CLOD and have been experimenting with it for the last few weeks and after building a fairly simple mission to test AI aircraft I have noticed some peculiar behaviour with take of and landing and was wondering if this is actually a game bug or if I'm setting up the mission incorrectly.

I can get a parked Sunderland to taxi and take off, but on landing the aircraft makes the approach but rather than touch down it veers off to the side before finally coming to rest in the water. Once it steadies itself it will then pick up the taxi path again.

Taxi to take off.

Approach.

Starting to roll to the side.

Touch down, ouch.

I thought this was probably something to do with the fact that I had set this up myself so I tried it with the Anson on a land base.

Approach.

Then again she starts to slip sideways.

And again comes to rest in a rather peculiar way.

Another problem occurs with the He-115 if it is set for take off, it starts in the air and falls into the sea.

The aircraft will land if it begins the mission in normal flight but again has the same
symptems as the other aircraft, strange or what.

Oh and should the Walrus be an amphibian or just a landplane or seaplane?

I can get it to take off and land from a land base but again there is some parculiar
landing behaviour, in some cases it will actually crash and make a hole for itself.

If I try a sea take off or landing it has the undercarriage lowered.

Could anyone tell me please if they have experienced this and whether there is a solution or not.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete.

Thank you very much SlipBall, I actually thought I'd done something wrong in setting up the mission.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete.
