Default christmas has came earlier

my older brother offered me a used logitech g940 from a friend of his that decided to depart the FS scene; how lucky am i?.... more than i deserve i guess

haven't even tried them, currently i had the one in the sig, a good one for what i'm used. i'll submit my impressions and how it is to go from twisty rudder to pedals once i give it few tries.

Really Zander? do people even worry about that when it comes to playing this game..i sure dont

Jatto, your love it mate...very nice stick, loads of buttons, nice ffb..

just a tip.. dont worry about creating profiles etc, just map your buttons in game and thats that..

Your have to open the logitech program to adjust your spring, centre ffb settings etc so adjust test n repeat

well how lucky i am, mine doesn't even seem to have the bug; everything worked perfect 'till now. installed the software, calibrated on the fly and worked great right out of the box; some adjustments on the force feedback will be necessary though.

performance wise yes, it's a whole other game; i got a vertical stability i just couldn't have with the thrustmaster; and loads of axes to assign all trimmings, plus some levers etc. the rudder pedals are a bit counter intuitive at first though; i'll add some more comment further down the road.

overall i'm very very happy with it

Great for you, unfortunately this bug is what kept me from buying it.
According to some squadmates it's a royal pita which makes formation flying close to impossible.
bttop
Glad to hear not all of them seem to be affected, I'd love to buy a new FF Stick and this is the only decent one.
I don't think I'm going to risk it myself though.

Do only some have it then? I thought it was supposed to be a wide spread doom and gloom issue with these...I don't and can't see the problem myself

With hardcore and game settings I can get the throttle movements very precise.

The only issue I have is sometimes I need to bring the throttle back towards me slightly so certain buttons work as apparently the cable inside is too short and is stretched too much thus making some buttons not register but its only sometimes and the movement is very minimal..

For the price of the setup its a great purchase
